Our Commitment to Safety
Zionville Volunteer Fire Department began serving the community in 1978 and is nestled within a small community in Watauga County about 15 minutes outside of Boone, North Carolina. Fire prevention and safety are at the core of what we do. We provide fire safety education, conduct fire suppression activities, and offer medical assistance when needed. Our goal is to ensure that every citizen in Zionville is prepared and protected.
Station 1
Station 1 was founded in 1978 to better serve the residents of Zionville in fire and medical protection. Station 1 is located on old 421 and houses an engine, tanker, equipment truck, quick response vehicle, and a six wheeler.
Station 2
Station 2 is our newest station and is located right of 421. Station 2 began responding to calls in 2017. Station 2 now houses an engine, tanker, brush unit, and mini pumper.
